Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harrison Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alec Conley!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franco darts in and clinches Conley up against the cage.
Conley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Franco has him pressed against the cage.
Franco on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Conley.
Conley fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Franco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Conley misses with the combination.
A head kick misses from Franco.
Conley lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Conley misses with a series of wild punches.
Franco is looking to counter the offense by Conley and move into the clinch.
Franco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Conley pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Franco back to the cage. Conley follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Alec Conley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conley throws a combination. Franco tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Franco is rocked!
Conley looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Conley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Franco closes the distance and clinches.

Franco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Franco tries to bum rush Conley with a series of wild strikes but Conley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Franco swinging wildly here.
Conley misses with a kick to the body.
Franco seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Franco takes the fight into the clinch.
Franco jumps guard but Conley stands there with Franco around his waist. Franco gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Conley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Conley throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Franco stumbling backwards into the cage! Franco bounces back off the cage towards Conley, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Conley lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Conley celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alec Conley!
