The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drum darts in and clinches Espinoza up against the cage.
Espinoza pushes off an throws an elbow but Drum leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Drum blocks an elbow strike from Espinoza.
Espinoza throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Espinoza looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Drum wants to break the clinch but can't.
Espinoza throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Espinoza tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

It looks like Rene Espinoza has been cut.
Espinoza is pushing Drum up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Espinoza looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Espinoza lands an elbow inside that Drum shrugs off.
Espinoza keeps control of Drum as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Espinoza manages to avoid it.

Drum gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Espinoza is looking to counter the offense by Drum and move into the clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Espinoza 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Drum takes an elbow to the temple.
Espinoza has Drum pressed against the cage, preventing Drum from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Espinoza is trying to maintain a safe position but Drum gets an underhook and turns Espinoza into the cage.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Espinoza.

Drum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Drum cracks Espinoza with a hook to the temple - Espinoza is on wobbly legs here! Drum swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Espinoza falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Drum wins by TKO!
