Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demolisher Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Jack has chosen Pleasures of the Flesh as his entrance music. Demolisher Jack will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bubba Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Demolisher Jack!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Smith.
Jack has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jack there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Bubba Smith has been cut.
Jack is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jack throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jack.
Jack connects with a body shot.
Jack has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jack showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
Jack cracks Smith with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Smith waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jack.
Smith swings for the body but Jack moves out of range.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jack misses the shot to the body.
Jack throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith lunges at Jack with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jack's hand.


Jack is rocked!
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith throws a jab when Jack was well out of range.
Smith lands a glancing blow to the side of Jack's head.
Jack is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Smith drops Jack with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jack looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jack swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bubba Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jack leaves his chin hanging out and Smith seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Jack crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bubba Smith!
Bubba Smith took some time post fight to say the following; 'I just want to be the best in the world, I train every damn day, no one works harder than my big ass #SmithBrothers'.
Demolisher Jack was interviewed post fight and said 'So sorry '.
