The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clendennon wants to counter with a clinch but Mooseheads pushes him away.

Mooseheads tries for a takedown but Clendennon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clendennon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Clendennon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mooseheads is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Mooseheads gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Mooseheads works over Clendennon with some ground and pound from guard.
Mooseheads might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Clendennon pulls Mooseheads in close to his closed guard and prevents Mooseheads from doing any damage or advancing position.
Clendennon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mooseheads throws a strike but Clendennon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Clendennon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mooseheads has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clendennon has managed to get both his arms back between Mooseheads's legs - danger averted.

Clendennon is pressed up against the cage. Mooseheads has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Clendennon down to the mat. Clendennon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Clendennon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Clendennon grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Mooseheads takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Clendennon cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Craig Clendennon really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
