Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald scores with a hook.

Wolansky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McDonald was covering up waiting for the punch and Wolansky finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wolansky trying to control the position from guard on top but McDonald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McDonald is working an open guard so Wolansky takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from McDonald. No joy for Wolansky on that attempt.
McDonald is looking to counter punch.
Wolansky fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and McDonald counters with a crisp one two that drops Wolansky! McDonald thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wolansky to his feet! Wolansky is in big trouble!
Tyron McDonald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matias Wolansky.

Wolansky throws a leg kick

and McDonald counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wolansky! McDonald lets Wolansky back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Wolansky is rocked!

It looks like Matias Wolansky has been cut.
McDonald weaves into range and cracks Wolansky right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Wolansky goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! McDonald is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
