Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kieran Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardoso comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Samba de Janeiro kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Renato Cardoso!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Summers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cardoso manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cardoso connects with a nice short shot to Summers's temple.
