The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hovac digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Gracie moves forwards but Hovac connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hovac lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Rail Gracie has been cut.
Gracie walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hovac checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

It looks like Gracie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Hovac pushes Gracie off but Gracie dives into side control.
Gracie is staying tight to Hovac's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Gracie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hovac on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hovac tries to get out of the position.

A lull in the action here as Gracie stalls from top position.
Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gracie has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Head Hunter. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hovac keeps working.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hovac seems a little lost for a moment, as Gracie dominates the positioning.

Hovac chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gracie can pounce on him.
Hovac throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Samuel Hovac will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Hovac.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hovac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
