The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ventura has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ventura misses with some punches.
Ventura misses with a body punch.
Ventura is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Force pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ventura lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Force backwards.
Ventura scores with a nice hook to the head.
Force's coach down at Cozad MMA Montreal was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Force's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Force lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ventura lands a shoulder strike.
Force just leaning against Ventura, taking a breather.

Force pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ventura misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ventura wants to clinch up but Force keeps it at a distance.
Ventura moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Force connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ventura looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ventura connects with a body shot that sends Force's belly button to the back.
Force throws a hook but Ventura blocks it.
Force ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Force moves forwards but Ventura connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Force swings for the body but Ventura moves out of range.
Ventura throws a body punch but Force moves out of range.
As Ventura backs off Force throws a huge counter combo but Ventura manages to avoid it all.
Force jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ventura works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ventura uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Force.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Force digs a good body shot into Ventura's ribs.
Force throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ventura stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Force throws a combination. Ventura tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

An attempted straight right counter from Ventura misses the target.
Force jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ventura throws a quick counter kick to the body but Force avoids it.

Ventura thows a left - swing and a miss!

Ventura moves in looking to clinch but Force pushes him off.

A thudding body kick lands there by Ventura!
Force looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ventura misses with a hook.
Ventura swings away with a body shot that misses
and Force counters with a nice uppercut.
Force throws the left hand but Ventura avoids the punch easily.
Force takes a swing at Ventura's ribcage but misses.
Ventura closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ventura takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ventura throws a sloppy head kick and Force moves out of range easily.
Ventura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Force sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ventura throws out a powerful jab.
Ventura steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Force.
Ventura misses with a kick to the body.
Force gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Force misses with a wild body shot.
Ventura quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Force takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ventura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ventura pushes Force up against the cage in a clinch.

Force manages to break the clinch.
Ventura throws an off balance right hand
and Force counters with a left to the body.
Ventura ducks under a wild hook from Force.
Force throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Force throws a hook to the side of Ventura's head but Ventura sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ventura tries to clinch there but Force circles away.
Force is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ventura with a body shot.
Mac Force is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Force lands a left and a right that send Ventura crashing to the mat, dazed. Force thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ventura is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ventura walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Force! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
