Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Venger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elmo Salty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venger comes to the cage accompanied by Live and Let Die. Salty is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gonna Fly Now. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Venger manages to avoid it.

Venger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Salty throws out the jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Salty with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Venger to score with a decent uppercut.

Venger does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Salty throws a fast counter high kick but Venger manages to duck under it in time.

Venger closes the distance and clinches.
Venger has a couple of punches blocked by Salty.
Salty takes a shot to the head.
Salty tries to throw a body punch but Venger avoids it by throwing Salty back against the cage.
Venger throws an elbow but it misses.
Venger lands a body shot in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Venger will probably get the nod.

Salty walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Venger! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Vladimir Venger really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellbent logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
