Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibrahim Abai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy's entrance music is Hot Rod. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abai shoots in and bounces Murphy off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Murphy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Murphy controls Abai momentarily but Abai frees himself.
Abai stands up over Murphy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Murphy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abai postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Murphy covers up, he's hurt! Abai keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Abai and the ref steps in to end the fight! Abai can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
