Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Bunker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez misses with a straight left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanchez. Bunker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bunker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
Sanchez misses with a right hand
and Bunker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sanchez checks a low kick from Bunker.

Bunker closes the distance and clinches.
Sanchez lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Still in the clinch, Bunker scores with a nice short uppercut.
Bunker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sanchez backwards.
Sanchez's coach down at Body Pain_14elite_700$+VM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sanchez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bunker works on Sanchez's body with a couple of short punches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bunker creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bunker slows down the pace here.
Bunker lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bunker scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sanchez prevents a body shot from Bunker.
Bunker blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bunker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bunker.
Bunker lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Sanchez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bunker is keeping busy.
Sanchez takes a shot to the head.
Bunker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Bunker working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.


Sanchez is rocked!
Bunker throws a big uppercut that drops Sanchez! More strikes from Bunker and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sanchez lies dazed against the cage as Bunker celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Bunker!
Tony Bunker decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
