The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Todd circles away quickly and effectively.

Braddock has managed to clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Braddock.

Braddock turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Braddock manages to end up in side control.
Todd struggling a bit here.
Braddock slows the pace down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Todd wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Braddock lands some shots froms side control.

Braddock stands up and beckons Todd to his feet.
