Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keoki Mana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase Morgan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keoki Mana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chase Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mana closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.
Mana postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Morgan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mana manages to get himself to full guard.

Mana is looking to stand up but Morgan isn't so interested in that idea.
Morgan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mana wants to sweep here but Morgan controlling him for the moment.
Morgan is looking to pass into half guard but Mana pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Mana is in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mana wants to stand but Morgan is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mana working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Let's hope that Morgan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Morgan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Morgan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Morgan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mana at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chase Morgan dominated that round.

Morgan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
