Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fitzpatrick throws a looping overhand right but Dux ducks down to avoid it.
We've been hearing reports that Dux has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fitzpatrick.

and Dux counters by moving into the clinch.
Fitzpatrick tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dux's elbow.

and Dux counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fitzpatrick can't keep his opponent in guard - Dux advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitzpatrick is looking to control Dux's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fitzpatrick avoid being mounted?
Fitzpatrick regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dux.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dux wants to control from the top but Fitzpatrick keeps moving.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitzpatrick can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dux stays in close to Fitzpatrick's body and controls the position.
Dux in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fitzpatrick wants to sweep but no luck.

Dux drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dux jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dux throws an elbow that misses. Fitzpatrick uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dux's guard. Nice move by Fitzpatrick!

Fitzpatrick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dux to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fitzpatrick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dux pulls down on the head and he's put Fitzpatrick to sleep! This one is all over!
