Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masa Hattori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux is looking to chop away at Hattori's legs.
Dux tries for a takedown but Hattori sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dux has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dux lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dux lands a slapping body shot.
Dux shoots in and drives through. Hattori sprawls well.
Dux throws an overhand right that lands on Hattori's shoulder, as Hattori tries to avoid the shot.
Hattori is looking to counter punch.
Dux misses with a looping left.
It looked like Hattori wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dux moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dux takes a swing at Hattori's ribcage but misses.

Dux tries to move into range but Hattori moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Dux is rocked!

Masa Hattori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Dux.

Dux looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hattori won't allow Dux to pass to mount.
Dux wants to control but Hattori is keeping him busy.
Hattori looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hattori has one foot on Dux's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Dux doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hattori counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Dux falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
