And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans lands a really nice looking cross but Rios seems unphased.
Rios just misses with a punch to the body.
Rios waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Evans.
As Rios backs away, Evans returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rios swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rios ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Evans moves away.
Rios misses with a hook
and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A big left from Evans misses.
Rios throws a jab but it's blocked by Evans.
Rios just misses with a punch to the body.
Evans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Evans wants to clinch

and Rios counters with a head kick that drops Evans to the mat! Evans scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Evans is rocked!
Evans tries to clinch but Rios is having none of it.
Evans slips a jab and a cross from Rios.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans wants to clinch up but Rios keeps it at a distance.
Evans throws a one two combo.

Evans throws a right hand that misses

and Rios counters with a crisp right hand that drops Evans! Rios lets Evans back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Evans is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Richard Evans has been cut.
Rios misses with a looping left.
Rios takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rios checks the leg kick.
Rios blocks a head kick by Evans.
Rios fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Evans is out of range.
Evans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Evans tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Evans seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rios dodges the punch combination from Evans.
Evans darts in trying to clinch
and Rios counters with a body kick that stops Evans in his tracks momentarily.
Evans throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Evans tries to clinch there but Rios circles away.
Rios's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Evans connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rios scrambles back to his feet.

Evans on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Evans walks into a left hand.
Evans looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Evans shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rios unleashes a big counter combination but Evans bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rios fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Evans to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Evans looks to clinch but Rios throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Evans taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
