The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos throws a head kick but Runkputte moves out of range.

and Runkputte counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Runkputte counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Runkputte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Runkputte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dos Santos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Runkputte will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Runkputte tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dos Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Runkputte throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dos Santos on the side of the head.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Runkputte, as that shot connected.
Dos Santos throws a head kick but Runkputte moves out of range.

Runkputte tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dos Santos was well out of range. Poor timing from Runkputte.

Runkputte bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dos Santos throws a body punch but Runkputte moves out of range.

Dos Santos throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Runkputte stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Dos Santos follows into mount!

Runkputte is rocked!

It looks like Jorde Runkputte has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dos Santos goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Runkputte is on top in guard.

Dos Santos has his feet on Runkputte's thighs here. He's pushed Runkputte off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Runkputte screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
