And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Rio Costa!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Costa drives through and clinches with Carvalho against the cage.

Carvalho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Costa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Costa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Carvalho has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Costa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Carvalho has tightened it up now! Costa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
