The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage cracks Mack with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Savage goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Alvin Mack has been cut.
Mack doesn't manage to clinch there - Savage circles away.
Mack tries to clinch but Savage moves out of range.

Alvin Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Savage gets tackled into the cage by Mack. Mack maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Savage's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mack lands an elbow that stopped Savage in his tracks for a moment.
Mack has Savage pressed against the cage, preventing Savage from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Savage's efforts to push away.
Mack connects with a nasty looking knee right to Savage's face.

Savage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mack moves in looking to clinch but Savage pushes him off.

It looked like Savage wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Savage jabs Mack right on the nose. Mack blinks but takes it well.
Savage darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savage swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mack is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mack clinches.
Mack is still on wobbly legs! Can Savage finish him?
Mack using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Savage has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Savage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Savage engages and cracks Mack with a massive lead left hook - Mack tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Savage is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Antonio Savage decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
