The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Withers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Withers throws a right hand that Mckenzie ducks under and follows up with a left that Mckenzie also avoids with ease.
Withers throws a series of punches but Mckenzie avoids them all with ease.

Withers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

As Withers tries to get set, Mckenzie tries to push him back and clinch up but Withers manages to avoid the attempt.

Mckenzie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Withers swivels and escapes.
Withers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mckenzie doesn't seem bothered though.

Withers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mckenzie.
Withers clobbers Mckenzie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Withers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Mckenzie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mckenzie.

Withers has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mckenzie is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mckenzie scores with a takedown into Withers's guard.
Withers is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mckenzie dives into side control.
Withers is trying to improve his position.
Withers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckenzie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Withers looking for a sweep but Mckenzie has passed into full mount! Oh no!

and Mckenzie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mckenzie.
Mckenzie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Withers to keep the fight standing.

Mckenzie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Withers throws a nice looking combination but Mckenzie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mckenzie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Withers's waist but Withers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mckenzie off to one side.
Withers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mckenzie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Withers punishes Mckenzie's body with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Withers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Withers slaps away a takedown attempt from Mckenzie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A countering left hand to the body from Withers misses.

Mckenzie goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Withers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mckenzie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Withers works Mckenzie's body with a nice hook.
Withers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Withers is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mckenzie rather than just go for the knockout.
Mckenzie avoids a punch combination nicely.
It looked like Mckenzie was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A jab from Withers does it's job there.
Withers throws a combination. Mckenzie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Mckenzie is rocked!
Mckenzie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mckenzie drops his hands for a split second and Withers immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Mckenzie face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Withers follows up with a right hand that knocks Mckenzie into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
