The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payapa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Harding was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Payapa lands with a nice body punch.

Payapa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Harding's guard.
Payapa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Payapa wants to control from the top but Harding keeps moving.
Payapa is looking to work some ground and pound but Harding has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payapa wanted to stand there but Harding had control of the position.
Payapa looking to sit in guard and control but Harding gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Payapa controls Harding momentarily but Harding frees himself.

Payapa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Payapa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Harding postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harding knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Payapa on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Payapa is concentrating on defense, preventing Harding from advancing position.
Harding looks to land a strike but Payapa avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Payapa is on top in guard.

Payapa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Harding has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Payapa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Harding is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Payapa pulls down on the head and he's put Harding to sleep! This one is all over!
