Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Wise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Robert!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise misses with a straight right.
Robert shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wise as he avoids it easily.

Robert darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wise is looking to improve his position.
Robert trying to control the action but Wise is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wise gets full guard.
Robert in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Robert uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wise.
Wise connects with the punch.
Wise throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wise looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
A shot to the body from Wise misses

and Robert counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wise won't be happy with that.
Wise avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Robert.
Wise is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Robert off and has taken his back!

Wise is hanging on to Robert's back as he tries to escape.
Robert looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wise controlling well, preventing Robert from escaping the position.
What can Robert do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dennis Wise will probably get the nod.

and Wise counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robert thinking.
Wise keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Robert throws the left hand but Wise avoids the punch easily.
Wise misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Robert.

Nice straight punches there by Wise. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wise.
Wise is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Robert can do to turn this around?

and Wise counters with a nice uppercut.
Wise lands a head shot.

Robert misses with a hook
and Wise counters with a stiff right hand.
Wise slaps away a takedown attempt from Robert, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Wise ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robert moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Wise works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wise dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

enabling Wise to counter with a crisp jab.
Dennis Wise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Robert.

Wise sends Robert crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wise is motioning to the referee to let Robert up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Robert is rocked!
Wise lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Robert - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Wise!

An out of breath Dennis Wise thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
