Christmas has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Singleton regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Christmas is looking to work some ground and pound but Singleton has wrist control.
Christmas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Singleton's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Christmas is holding on here and Singleton must be using up a lot of energy. Christmas has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Singleton gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
