The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a looping right.
Balboa throws a jab but it's blocked by Tudie.
Tudie throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tudie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tudie has a takedown stuffed.
Balboa misses with a straight left.
Tudie fails in his attempt to clinch.

Balboa tries to keep at a distance but Tudie has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tudie manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tudie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Balboa was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tudie slips under a jab from Balboa.
A big right from Balboa misses.

Tudie shoots in but no luck this time.
Balboa throws the left hand but Tudie avoids the punch easily.
Balboa takes a swing at Tudie's ribcage but misses.
Tudie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cain Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eyewan Tudie.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tudie.
Tudie misses with a takedown attempt - Balboa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tudie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Balboa stuns Tudie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Balboa lunges at Tudie with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tudie's hand.

It looks like Eyewan Tudie has been cut.

Balboa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tudie.
A little jabbing left from Tudie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Balboa. No joy for Tudie on that attempt.
Tudie throws a jab when Balboa was well out of range.

and Tudie counters with a head kick. That will keep Balboa thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Tudie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Balboa.
Balboa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Tudie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Balboa drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Tudie right on the button. Tudie goes down! Balboa follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Balboa gets the win via TKO!
