Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Banner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gonzalez. Those never looked like landing.
Banner tries to counter with a clinch but Gonzalez shakes him off and moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzalez enables Banner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzalez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gonzalez pushes Banner off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Gonzalez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Banner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzalez as he avoids it easily.
Good leg kick by Gonzalez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Banner throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Gonzalez misses the target.
Gonzalez throws a hook but Banner blocks it.
Banner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gonzalez's head backwards.

Banner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gonzalez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gonzalez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gonzalez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banner defends it nicely.
Gonzalez misses with a straight right.
Gonzalez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Banner was well out of range. Poor timing from Gonzalez.
Banner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gonzalez throws a big shot that misses.
Banner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Gonzalez counters with a series of strikes. Banner will be more careful next time no doubt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Banner.
Jesus Gonzalez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Banner.

Gonzalez tries to get into range but Banner steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gonzalez! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Banner scores the big KO victory!
