Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Earnest Zimmerman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brent Chase!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chase bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Zimmerman tries to improve position but can't.

Chase is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zimmerman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Earnest Zimmerman will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Chase fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zimmerman sprawls well initially but Chase persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chase is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zimmerman defends it well.

Chase shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zimmerman is trying to defend but Chase finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Earnest Zimmerman.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zimmerman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
