Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gail Wilder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kashmhir Bakr!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bakr shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Wilder looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Wilder wants to improve his position but Bakr is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wilder manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wilder has control of Bakr's left arm, preventing Bakr from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bakr stands and steps away. Wilder gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bakr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bakr is just content to waste time from the top position. Wilder takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Wilder tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bakr is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bakr postures up in Wilder's guard and throws a big left but Wilder blocks it.

Bakr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Wilder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bakr wants to pass the guard but Wilder is keeping the position.
Bakr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wilder lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wilder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wilder controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Wilder stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bakr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wilder is trying to defend but Bakr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bakr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wilder's head.
Wilder is trying to control but can't.

Kashmhir Bakr dominated that round.
That's time! Wilder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Bakr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Wilder is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Bakr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wilder has escaped the position, nice work there.

Wilder is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wilder on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Bakr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bakr lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Wilder quite badly. Wilder pulls Bakr in close trying to recover. Bakr postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Wilder on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Wilder doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kashmhir Bakr!
