The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Hamidovich Saitiev.
Hay tries to clinch but Hamidovich Saitiev is having none of it.

Hay lands a left and a right that send Hamidovich Saitiev crashing to the mat, dazed. Hay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hay closes the distance and clinches.
Hay using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hamidovich Saitiev has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hay throws an elbow but misses.
Hay prevents the takedown attempt.

Hay gets through Hamidovich Saitiev's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Hay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hay manages to end up in side control.

Hay decides to take the fight back to the feet.
We've been told by Hay's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hamidovich Saitiev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hay circles away.
Hamidovich Saitiev has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hamidovich Saitiev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hay lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Hamidovich Saitiev out cold! Hamidovich Saitiev is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
