Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deano Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidenoyama Raigoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deano Ripper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Deano Ripper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hidenoyama Raigoro!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripper tries to bum rush Raigoro with a series of wild strikes but Raigoro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Raigoro shoots in and gets a takedown into Ripper's guard.
Ripper is wriggling around but Raigoro manages to pass to half guard.

Ripper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Raigoro is working away from the top position though.
Raigoro is looking to take a break and control but Ripper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raigoro landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Raigoro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Raigoro stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Raigoro shoots in and gets a takedown into Ripper's guard.

Raigoro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Raigoro decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ripper, up you get!

Raigoro dives in and scores a takedown into Ripper's guard.
Ripper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Raigoro makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Raigoro drops back looking for a leg! Ripper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ripper manages to kick Raigoro off! Raigoro jumps back into Ripper's guard.

Raigoro is stalling in the full guard.
Raigoro works over Ripper with some ground and pound from guard.
Raigoro trying to control but Ripper is working from the bottom.
Raigoro content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Raigoro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Raigoro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Raigoro has eaten all the pies!
Raigoro throws a big right hand that misses.

Raigoro decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ripper, up you get!
Hidenoyama Raigoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raigoro scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Raigoro is trying to work for a kimura but Ripper is defending well.
Raigoro wants to control but Ripper is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raigoro in particular looking to stall.
Raigoro tries to pass to full mount but Ripper defends it.
Raigoro takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Raigoro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ripper defends it well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ripper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Raigoro.

Raigoro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ripper to the ground. Raigoro is now in Ripper's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Raigoro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ripper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Raigoro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Raigoro passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ripper tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Raigoro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ripper wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Raigoro wants to control but Ripper is keeping him busy.

Raigoro tightens his grip and picks Ripper up, before dumping him to the ground. Ripper manages to land in guard.
Ripper wants to sweep but no luck.

Raigoro controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Raigoro wants to control but Ripper is keeping him busy.
Raigoro looks up at the clock and then as Ripper takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Raigoro smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Raigoro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ripper keeps working.
Hidenoyama Raigoro has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Ripper's face as Raigoro controls the position.
Raigoro is looking to take a break and control but Ripper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Raigoro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ripper has escaped the position, nice work there.

Raigoro decides to stand back up. Raigoro steps back and let's Ripper get back to his feet.
Ripper misses with the combination.

Ripper gets caught flat footed, as Raigoro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Raigoro chips away with some ground and pound.
Ripper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Raigoro on the ground.

Raigoro stays in close to Ripper's body and controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hidenoyama Raigoro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Raigoro winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
