The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease.
Turner throws a lazy body kick
and West counters with a left and a right that stings Turner.

West lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively.
West thumps Turner with a low kick.
West lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by West.
No joy there for West, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
West ducks right into an uppercut from Turner.
Turner's jab looks to have found its range, popping West under the eye.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

West misses with an uppercut. Turner saw that one coming.

Turner has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
West rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Turner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps West thinking.
West has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turner finds it's way round the side to connect with West's head.

Turner lands a big right hand that sends West crashing to the mat! Turner stays standing though and waves West back to his feet!
Oh West is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Turner lands a big uppercut and West crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but West looks OK. Turner waves West back to his feet!
Andrew West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner is stalking West. West circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Turner, and it's lights out! West really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
