Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes to the cage accompanied by Mad Dog Tribute. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman works the jab nicely.

It looks like Maurice Vachon has been cut.
Vachon just misses with a punch to the body.
Zimmerman feints a counter leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vachon. Zimmerman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zimmerman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vachon takes a swing at Zimmerman's ribcage but misses.
Vachon fails to land the takedown.
Vachon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zimmerman.
Zimmerman lands with a nice body kick.
Zimmerman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Vachon feinted with a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zimmerman motions for Vachon to come forward. Zimmerman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vachon was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zimmerman connects with a looping right hand.
Vachon avoids the head kick by Zimmerman.

and Vachon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Vachon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zimmerman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Frankie Zimmerman has been cut.

That has opened up Frankie Zimmerman's cut even more.
Vachon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zimmerman looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vachon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zimmerman's face.

The cut above Frankie Zimmerman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Zimmerman's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Frankie Zimmerman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frankie Zimmerman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
