Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Coulthard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clarke is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: March of Cambreadth. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rhys Coulthard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulthard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Clarke tries to clinch up but Coulthard circles away and keeps his distance.
Clarke tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Coulthard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Coulthard swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Clarke.
Coulthard swats away the attempt to clinch by Clarke.
Coulthard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Coulthard misses the target.
A decent looking cross lands there for Coulthard.
Clarke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Coulthard lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Clarke's coach down at Kalashnikov MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Clarke's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Clarke wants to clinch but Coulthard slips to the side
and Coulthard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Clarke is rocked!
Clarke tries to clinch but Coulthard is having none of it.
An attempted straight right counter from Coulthard misses the target.
Clarke is still on wobbly legs! Can Coulthard finish him?
Coulthard steps in with a hook that catches Clarke right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Coulthard follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Clarke looks absolutely devastated.
