Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seppo Silvennoinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Arroyo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo misses with an uppercut.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Arroyo.

and Silvennoinen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Arroyo's guard.

Arroyo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silvennoinen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silvennoinen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Arroyo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silvennoinen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
