Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregg Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baird sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrison somewhat.
Baird tries to clinch up.
Baird really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harrison has a takedown stuffed.
Harrison lands with a shot to the body.
Baird avoids the head kick by Harrison.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harrison shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Baird eats them both and turns towards Harrison to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Harrison tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Baird swivels and escapes.
Harrison throws the kick towards the body but Baird avoids it.

Harrison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baird is fending him off so far but Harrison persists. Nope, Baird circles away and we're back to standing.

Harrison throws a leg kick but Baird sees it coming and moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gregg Baird.
I think Harrison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
