The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calhoun falls off balance throwing a combination

and Cote counters by moving into the clinch.

Cote is fighting off a takedown attempt but Calhoun is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cote to the mat. Cote regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
