Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Fredrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fredrick's choice of entrance music: Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz: Throw It Up. On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Hare has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Hare seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hare lands a leg kick that knocks Fredrick off balance momentarily.
Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hare blocks a head kick by Fredrick.
Fredrick tries to clinch there but Hare circles away.
Fredrick blocks the body kick.
Hare has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheers as Fredrick lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hare doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Peter Hare has been cut.

Hare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fredrick moves away.

Fredrick lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hare at a distance.

and Fredrick counters with a three punch combo that has Hare backing up. Hare nods at Fredrick to acknowledge the strikes.
Hare lands a big head kick that sends Fredrick tumbling to the mat! Hare takes a step backwards and waves Fredrick back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fredrick ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hare keeps the fight on the outside.
Hare pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fredrick back to the cage. Hare follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hare looks for the body kick but Fredrick saw that one coming.
Fredrick steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hare.
Fredrick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hare manages to avoid it.
Hare throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fredrick appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Fredrick has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hare finds it's way round the side to connect with Fredrick's head.
Hare tries to land a front kick but Fredrick steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hare throws a body shot but no joy.
We've been informed that Fredrick has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hare lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

That has opened up Ronald Fredrick's cut even more.
Fredrick doesn't manage to clinch there - Hare circles away.

Fredrick moves in looking to clinch but Hare pushes him off.
Fredrick dodges the punch combination from Hare.

Fredrick tries to close the distance and clinch but Hare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hare stuffs the takedown attempt from Fredrick. Fredrick gets slowly back to his feet.
Hare throws a quick inside leg kick.

Fredrick throws a head kick that misses.
Fredrick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hare! Fredrick is out on his feet! Hare rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Fredrick is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Fredrick is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Hare!
