The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greenfield looking to score a takedown here. Starr is defending well but Greenfield drives through and ends up in Starr's guard.
Starr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Starr can't keep his opponent in guard - Greenfield advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Greenfield is looking for a kimura but Starr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Greenfield to get the leverage.

Greenfield seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Greenfield is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Starr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Greenfield.
Greenfield throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Greenfield will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Greenfield seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Starr for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Greenfield closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Starr did well to prevent Greenfield getting side control.
