Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gary Pitts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hung Solo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hung Solo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Solo has managed to clinch.

Pitts decides to pull guard.

Solo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pitts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Solo manages to get himself to full guard.

Pitts is working Solo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Solo throws a nice looking combination but Pitts bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pitts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pitts pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Solo back to the cage. Pitts follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Solo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Pitts tries to bum rush Solo with a series of wild strikes but Solo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pitts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pitts wants it to stay on the feet.
Pitts stalks Solo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Solo's face. Solo staggers backwards, shaken.
Pitts leaves Solo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pitts has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Solo looks to move to half guard but instead Pitts has passed into mount! Damn!
Pitts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
