Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Sentro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maurice Giresse!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giresse swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sentro.
Sentro misses with a takedown attempt - Giresse sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Giresse swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nice body punch from Giresse.
Sentro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sentro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Giresse changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sentro misses with a takedown
and Giresse counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Sentro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sentro is breathing heavily.
Sentro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Giresse is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sentro decides to stand back up. Sentro steps back and let's Giresse get back to his feet.
Giresse lands a jab to the nose.
Giresse lands a nice shot that snaps Sentro's head back.
Giresse works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sentro is rocked!
Giresse feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sentro sprawling to the canvas! Sentro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Giresse finish him?!
Oh Sentro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Giresse dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Giresse closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Sentro out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
