PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jefferey Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Jasons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jasons has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Steve Jasons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Martin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jasons is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Martin gets his way!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Martin controlling the positon.
Martin lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Jasons is trying to remain composed but Martin is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Martin. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
