Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill tries to clinch up but Nguyen circles away and keeps his distance.
Bill lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Nguyen moves into range and clinches up with Bill.

Bill works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Nguyen wants to get back to his feet but Bill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Nguyen is wriggling around but Bill manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nguyen pushes Bill off looking to stand but Bill dives back in and keeps control.
Bill blocks the strikes from Nguyen.
Bill stops Nguyen from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nguyen is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Nguyen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bill scores with a couple of nice shots.
Nguyen keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Bill drops an elbow to the side of Nguyen's head.
Nguyen is trying to stand back up but Bill is controlling him
Nguyen is concentrating on defense, preventing Bill from advancing position.
Nguyen wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nguyen is trying to maintain the position but Bill is very close to passing his half guard.
Nguyen tries to kick Bill off in order to stand up. Bill Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Bill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nguyen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Nguyen is looking to reverse the position.

Bill has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nguyen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bill yanks on the arm and Nguyen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bill.
