Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Kid!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid misses with a double jab.
Kid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barrera moves away.

Kid tries to keep at a distance but Barrera has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kid misses with a punch on the inside.
Barrera has Kid pressed against the cage, preventing Kid from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kid gets control of Barrera's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kid will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Barrera trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kid's guard.
Kid wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barrera controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kid has his feet on Barrera's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barrera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kid lands with a nice combination. Barrera backs away looking to recover.

Barrera closes the distance and pushes Kid back into the cage.
Kid misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kid wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Kid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kid misses with a wild combination.
Barrera seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barrera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kid.
Billy Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kid darts in and clinches Barrera up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrera is trying to pull guard but Kid has him pressed against the cage.
Kid has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Barrera keeps control of Kid as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Barrera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barrera tries to clinch but Kid moves out of range.
Barrera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kid.
Sloppy strikes from Kid. Those never looked like landing.
Kid goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Barrera tries to clinch up but Kid circles away and keeps his distance.
Kid fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kid fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kid clinches up with Barrera and pushes him back against the cage.
Kid lands a left hand.

Barrera is rocked!
Barrera wants to break free but Kid has control.
Oh Barrera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barrera avoids the head kick by Kid.
Kid blocks a head kick by Barrera.
Kid connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Barrera to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Kid!
