PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bode Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigurd Vinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muller comes to the cage accompanied by Feuer Frei. Sigurd Vinci told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Muller.
Muller throws out a loose jab but Vinci uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muller scores with a jab. Vinci acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Muller has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Vinci takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Muller connects with a nice looking jab.
Muller tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Vinci is able to avoid easily.
Vinci uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Muller.
Muller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vinci. Vinci circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Muller lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Muller lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Muller 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fighters circling - Muller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Muller misses with a body kick.

Muller throws an overhand right that lands on Vinci's shoulder, as Vinci tries to avoid the shot.
Vinci tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Muller scores with a jab to the jaw.
A decent looking cross lands there for Muller.

It looks like Sigurd Vinci has been cut.
Muller tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vinci swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The fighters circling - Muller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Muller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vinci steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Muller.
Muller lands a jab.
Muller with a hook.
Vinci misses with a hook. Muller ducked under it nicely.

Vinci tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Muller looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Muller looks to land a right hand but Vinci moved out of range.
Bode Muller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muller ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vinci moves away.
Vinci steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Muller.
A telegraphed right hand from Muller misses the target.
A left and a right from Muller both land. Nice combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muller connects with a leg kick. Vinci looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Muller connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Vinci has taken the fight to the clinch.
Muller can't find room to land a body shot as Vinci controls the action.
Muller creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Vinci's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Vinci drops to his knees and Muller pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
