Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Gowing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Cameron Gowing has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cameron Gowing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leon Valentine!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gowing. Gowing obviously looking to wear him down.
Valentine stuffs the takedown attempt from Gowing. Gowing gets slowly back to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Valentine! But no joy.
Gowing with a poor takedown
and Valentine counters with a stiff right hand.
Gowing shoots in for a takedown but Valentine shows good takedown defense.
Valentine looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gowing closes the distance and clinches up with Valentine, looking for a takedown. Gowing pushes Valentine against the cage but Valentine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cameron Gowing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valentine slaps away a takedown attempt from Gowing, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Gowing works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Valentine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gowing doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gowing manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cameron Gowing.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gowing, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
