The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christian is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barton pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Barton frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Christian tries to improve his position but instead Barton has taken his back!

Christian tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barton defends well and Christian ends up having to push Barton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kurt Christian is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Barton remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Barton has an Americana. Christian didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Barton is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Barton hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
