Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay J Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Godinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Godinho manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson misses with a hook. Godinho ducked under it nicely.
Jackson tries to land a front kick but Godinho steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Godinho fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.

Jackson has Godinho up against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Godinho has Jackson pushed against the cage.
Jackson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Godinho is defending well for now.
Godinho drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Godinho has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Godinho shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jay J Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Godinho.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Godinho swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Godinho has Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.
Godinho tries to pull guard but Jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Godinho drops back down to his feet.

Godinho tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.
Godinho shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Godinho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Godinho napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Godinho bucks up and tries to throw Jackson off but instead Jackson has got his back!
Godinho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
