Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernardo Muriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Natural Mystic. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muriel lands a nice hook to Black's body. Black takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Muriel. Black shrugs it off though.
Muriel fakes the leg kick and cracks Black in the body.
Muriel works the jab nicely.
Muriel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Black, pushing him back against the cage.
Black lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Muriel backwards.
Black blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Black has Muriel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Muriel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Muriel throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Black chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Muriel can pounce on him.

Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Muriel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Muriel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Black drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Muriel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Black has Muriel in his guard.

Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muriel manages to avoid it.

Muriel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
It looked like Black was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Matt Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Black takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Muriel stuffs the takedown attempt from Black. Black gets slowly back to his feet.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Muriel. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matt Black will probably get the nod.

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muriel's waist but Muriel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.
Muriel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Muriel uses his free foot to push down on Black's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Black.

Muriel throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Black gets control of Muriel's arms and successfully pulls guard. Black will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Muriel wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Black is now in half guard.
Black working over Muriel with some ground and pound. Muriel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Black lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Black is pressing down on Muriel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Muriel is holding on for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Black.
I think Black has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
