The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bello enables Todd to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bello manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Felix Todd will probably get the nod.

Todd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bello doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bello manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Todd is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bello defends well.

Todd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bello gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Todd has his foot on Bello's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bello works his way back into a safe position though.

Todd has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bello is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Todd.

Bello is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Todd has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Felix Todd.
