Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Hadjiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tane Huia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tane Huia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Hadjiev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Huia told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Hadjiev is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Huia still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Huia has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Huia creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hadjiev closes the distance and clinches up with Huia, looking for a takedown. Hadjiev pushes Huia against the cage but Huia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It looks like Valentin Hadjiev has been cut.
Huia jabs Hadjiev to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Huia smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Huia knocks out Hadjiev with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Huia before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Huia picks up the big W with a huge KO!
