Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Ruger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ruger attempts a counter takedown but Silva avoids it well and moves away.
Ruger feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Ruger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ruger cracks Silva with a solid left hand.
Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ruger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva has his hands on Ruger's head, controlling the position.
Silva has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ruger should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Silva has tightened it up now! Ruger should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
